Just how healthy are your muscles and joints?
Answer our questions and find out if your flexibility is compromised.
Find out how flexible you areHi, there are a few things I would recommend to help with this problem but you'll really have to keep them up longer term in order to reap the benefits. First of all, drinking plenty of plain still water can really help with stiffness. We should aim for 1.5 to 2 litres per day and remember that the likes of tea and coffee don't count. Nettle tea can be a useful addition on top of plain water as it is anti-inflammatory in nature.
Next, you may find it helpful to try some more gentle stretching exercises such as yoga or pilates rather than hammering it on the treadmill.
Other than this, I would recommend Devil's Claw and a turmeric supplement daily to help with any inflammation. Breathing exercises out in the fresh air, even if you just open a window, can also improve circulation which may, in turn, ease some of your symptoms.
