Please read my series of blogs written on understanding and managing pain, including dietary and emotional influences.
Speaking of emotional influences, people's relationship to food is what stops them losing weight successfully.
How to lose weight is incredibly simple - eat more plant foods and cut out sugar.
Everyone knows it but those who need to lose weight are not doing it and the big question is "why?".
"People need to ask if they comfort eat? "
"Do they feel negatively about themselves?"
"Are they prone to low mood?"
"Do they diet aggressively, starving themselves for a week before it all goes wrong again?"
Every one knows what a healthy diet is, the question is why do people ignore it?
If you can answer those questions you will be in a position to ask some nicer ones such as
"How will I feel about myself if I lost this weight?"
"How would I look in my mirror?"
"What would my friends think of me?"
Write all the questions down and in answering them you'll begin on the right road to losing weight.
There is no such thing as a weight loss diet that works in the long term. It's simply eating well every day and feeling you're deserving of it that does the trick.
Best wishes
