I have a burning sensation running down the left hand side of my body, neck pain and back pain. I have been to the doctor and was given anti inflammatory tablets which don't work. I was wondering could it be fibromyalgia I have? It comes and goes and I have had it for 3 years.

I can't diagnose I'm afraid but you can probably rule out fibromyalgia.

It requires pain to be felt in 11 of 18 paired sites and in all 4 quadrants of the body. Please see my page on trigger points.

I suggest you ask your doctor for an MRI scan or similar to reveal the cause of your pain.
