Could fibromyalgia have caused my heart attack? The heart is a muscle and Ii have had two stents attached.

I suspect you're asking this after reading that reduced blood supply may contribute to Fibromyalgia.

In the case of a heart attack, it is the reduction or near blockage of the arteries carrying oxygenated blood away from the heart that causes the trouble. The stents are a mesh structure put there to support the walls of the artery.

Poor circulation in relation to fibromyalgia involves circulation to the periphery and micro circulation to the muscles and nerves that control them. These distant blood vessels are themselves surrounded by smooth muscle which controls their dilation and contraction. The major blood vessels nearer the heart are not.
