While there is no direct link between anxiety and red eyes (that I know of) anxiety can cause our histamine levels to rise which basically means we become more prone to allergic reactions (see my blog for more information - Is hayfever stressing you out or is stress exacerbating your hayfever) whilst under stress.
I would recommend that you see an optician or your GP to have your eyes checked and subject to what they think the problem is do come back to me if you'd like advice on herbal products which may help.
