I don't think you have a problem. This is an incredibly common issue. Most people have busy, stressful lives these days and this can mean that the body ends up producing more stress chemicals, like adrenaline, in the evening and night than it should.
Also, these days people don't really relax in the evening - they do things like watch tv or spend time on computers, which can be very stimulating for the brain. In addition, the type of light emitted by smartphones and computers can prevent you falling asleep so this exacerbates the problem.
I know it is hard, but if I were you I would have a 'curfew' on your use of such devices and pick a time to turn them off or limit their use after 8-9pm as much as you can.
You are probably too young to drink lots of caffeine, but I would think about what you consume during the day and make sure you are not eating or drinking too much sugar or caffeine, especially in the afternoon, as these are stimulants.
Some people find exercise in the afternoon or early evening a good way to help this issue so you could also try this. And there is a flower essence as well called Night Essence which might be worth a try. It is designed specifically for this issue - for people who lie awake thinking and struggle to 'switch off'. You can find it in most health food shops and pharmacies.
I hope this helps,
Amy
