I am not surprised you are struggling - going cold turkey when coming off hormonal medication can lead to horrible symptoms.
I spoke to our menopause expert, Eileen, about what would be best for you and she said that sometimes in these cases she actually suggests going to your doctor and asking to go back on the HRT. She would advise taking it again until you feel better, but at the same time supporting your body with B- vitamins, Magnesium and Zinc, and then wean yourself off the HRT slowly over a few months. This will minimise the shock on your body of coming off the medication and should greatly lessen your symptoms.
During this process, our Menopause Support Formula can help to manage some of the menopause symptoms and the B vitamins and Magnesium for adrenal support (I usually recommend Nutri MegaMuscleze for this or ask in your local health food shop for something similar if you have a good one nearby). Possibly our Dormeasan at night, would also be useful to help support your sleep too, rather than the Milk Thistle.
I would also recommend browsing the menopause section of our website. There is lots of information there I think you will find useful and you can email the menopause experts for advice as well.
I hope this helps,
Marianna
