The most common cause of restless legs is magnesium deficiency, so I would suggest trying a magnesium supplement (preferably a liquid or powder for fast absorption) about an hour before bed.
Another cause can be excess caffeine, so if you do drink a lot of tea or coffee it might be wise to reduce your consumption.
