There are a few of things that you can do to help your daughter:
1. Make sure that her bowels are moving a least once a day - every day. You can look at Molkosan® Vitality to help with this; although a healthy diet will also be helpful.
2. Try a magnesium supplement (Salus Haus liquid variety is very good) the week before, and during, her period. Magnesium rich foods will also be helpful here too.
3. Check her finger nails for white spots, if they are there then it is possible that she may be zinc deficient; 15mg of zinc daily will help if this is the case.
Please let me know if you would like any further information.
Kindest regards
Emma
