I haven't seen a lot of research regarding lemon or green tea and period cramps, however, ginger certainly has anti-inflammatory properties which may be beneficial in easing discomfort. There are plenty of ginger teas on the market now or, alternatively, you could make your own following the instructions below. I hope this is helpful.
Homemade ginger tea:
1. Peel and wash one thumb-sized piece of ginger then place in a small pan
2. Measure a glass of water and add to the pan with the ginger
3. Bring the mixture to the boil and then gently simmer for a few minutes.
4. Sieve the mixture into a jug and then transfer to a mug. Add a dash of honey or maple syrup if you like and enjoy!
