Hormonal contraceptives like the pill are designed to purposely influence your hormones in a certain way in order to help protect against pregnancy, or in some cases help manage certain symptoms.
As Agnus castus can also influence our balance of hormones this is a contraindication and there is the risk that a herb like Agnus castus could potentially reduce the efficacy of the pill, if they are taken at the same time.
If you feel the pill is no longer working for you or you are experiencing unwanted symptoms whilst on it, you should always chat this over with your doctor.
