The drop in hormones around the time of our period, particularly oestrogen, can risk contributing to a slump in our energy levels. Whilst this is normal, to some degree, feeling extremely sleepy or low in energy could suggest that your hormones are a little out of balance or you are deficient in some key nutrients.
