Now and again it’s quite normal to have a slightly longer period as it’s quite normal for your period to vary slightly from month to month. I would keep an eye on your periods and track them for the next 3 months to see if you see a pattern emerging. Only time will tell if this pattern remains (periods lasting for approximately 7 days) or if it was more of a one off.
If you find that your periods are lasting for nearer 7 days on average, please feel to get back in touch and we can discuss this further. Longer periods could be the sign of a slight hormone imbalance, in which case the herbal remedy Agnus castus may be helpful.
