Periods can be quite irregular after first starting your period, especially in the first year, so this isn’t necessarily anything to worry about. Also, even after they are more settled, missing a period all together can happen for a number of reasons, for example, stress or changes in diet, body weight or exercise habits can all also have an influence.
However, if your symptoms persist or you are worried, it might be worth going to your doctor to have this checked out. They will be able to give you some more information as to what might be causing this.
