Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, considering her age, we couldn't recommend anything herbal to influence her hormones. However, it is quite common for symptoms to crop up at this stage as our hormones can often take a little while to settle. In many cases, they start to calm down naturally in due course, however, if her symptoms persist it would be worth returning to her doctor to discuss this.
Some tips would be to try and encourage her to avoid refined sugar and processed foods, maintain a healthy body weight and take part in regular gentle exercise, all of which can help to support her menstrual cycle.
In terms of nutrient support, a childs or teenage multivitamin may be useful to help support her during this time. One with iron in would be useful such as Animal Parade from Nature's Plus.
An alternative, rather than a full spectrum multivitamin, would be a gentle iron tonic such as Floradix. This is pleasant and fruity in taste.
I hope this helps, if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask!
Best wishes,
Emma
