Question: Why does perimenopause make you tired or affect your energy?

Answer: Perimenopause is a time of hormonal imbalance. It affects our sleep. It also affects other hormonal systems like the hypothalamic, pituitary, adrenal, and thyroid axes.

The perimenopausal body has to work harder and nutritional demands are higher. Ironically, in our exhaustion, we often find ourselves reaching for sweets, carbs or coffee, rather than getting something nutritious.

What can help?

Supplements are a bit of an investment, but they may help address nutritional shortfalls and relieve menopausal symptoms like brain fog and fatigue that impact our motivation to eat well and to exercise.

Focus Perimenopause tablets are for the nervous system and cognitive and psychological symptoms like weariness. Balance Perimenopause Multi-nutrient drink is an all-around energy pick-me-up drink, which helps support you in ten different ways during perimenopause, including helping to reduce tiredness and fatigue. Either of these supplements may help to give you a little boost during perimenopause.
