What are the worst foods for menopause? We know that certain food groups can trigger symptoms such as headaches, palpitations, hot flushes and sweats, and cause joint pains. And these will include things like caffeine, processed foods, high salt and sugar foods, white bread, pasta and rice, and also alcohol.
But sometimes it can be difficult to know which ones are doing it. So, why not do a food diary for a week? Write down everything that you're eating and drinking. The times that you are having them. And then when you get the symptoms. And very often, there's a really big clue staring at you in the face.
What to do then? Try and really cut these foods down for a few weeks, just to see if they make that bit of difference.
