60 seconds in menopause video transcript:

Is crawling skin a symptom of perimenopause and menopause? Yes, it certainly is. Now, this isn't itchy skin (which is also a common symptom of perimenopause and menopause). This is a feeling that there are things crawling up the inside of your skin. It's called formation.

It can be caused when the hormones start to change. If you're in perimenopause, you may find it comes just before a period. And in menopause itself, it can happen at any time.

It can also be due to extra stress and anxiety. It can be due to food sensitivities. It can be due to skin allergies.

So, the best things here are: Loads of water, and try a magnesium supplement. And the herb Nettle is a lovely natural antihistamine that can soothe skin down really nicely.
