60 seconds in menopause video transcript:

Is clumsiness a symptom of the menopause? Yes, it is! It's amazing how many women tell me that they are experiencing this at some point. It seems that falling oestrogen can affect both your eyesight and also your depth of perception.

So, women are saying that they're may be bumping into doors instead of going through them. They find that they can't park their car straight, and I know that was me for about 2 years. They may find that when they put things down on a table that they're completely missing the table.

It can also be loss of strength of your grip. So, women are telling me that they can't pick things up properly. They might be picking something up and it's just dropping on the floor.

Important things here: Always get your eyes checked regularly during menopause and if you are getting this hand weakness, it's really important to check with your doctor, just to make sure that it is related to the menopause.
