60 seconds in menopause video transcript:

Is burning mouth a perimenopause and menopause symptom? Yes, it certainly can be!

It can be caused by a number of issues. It can be falling oestrogen affecting the mucous membranes, so your mouth gets really dry and you find it difficult to chew things and your tongue can get really irritated. It can be due to a lack of certain nutrients as well.

So, the main things to do here is: Sea Buckthorn Oil supplement if your mouth is getting really dry as well. Try a vitamin B complex, maybe 50 mg. Zinc can be really helpful, especially if that burning mouth is causing issues with your taste, if you find that you can't taste things very well.

And, also just be really careful with the types of toothpaste that you use because the chemicals in the toothpaste can irritate your mouth even further.
