Fluctuating oestrogen is often the cause of hormonal migraines, and if your hormones are fluctuating erratically, this can make the migraines worse.
However, for some women just that fact that their oestrogen is decreasing will reduce the likelihood of migraines, so it could go either way, sorry!
You may find taking a plant based phyto-oestrogen, such as Menopause Support, helpful. This is known to gently even out and balance oestrogen levels in the menopause, thus reducing symptoms.
Low magnesium can also be a contributory factor in some migraines so you may find taking a magnesium citrate supplement, 200mg twice a day with food, helps as well.
