Unfortunately coming off HRT, especially if you did it quickly, can often trigger withdrawal symptoms that are identical to menopause ones.
When you come off HRT you are going from an artificially high level of hormones (HRT) to your own natural levels which will now be low because of your age, so you are in effect having a sort of ‘menopause’ albeit an induced one. What often happens in such cases is that your nervous system crashes and this can lead to all sorts of symptoms.
I would suggest doing some adrenal support work such as a high magnesium supplement plus a high strength multivit, liquorice tea daily can be of benefit (if you like it!).
Acupuncture can often really help here so worth looking into as well.
Rest and relaxation are vital so try to get 30 minute proper relaxation or meditation every day, this can reduce symptoms very quickly!
Complementary therapist such as Herbalists, Nutritionists and Naturopaths are all aware of this kind of scenario so it may be an idea to seek their advice and they may be able to formulate an effective treatment plan for you.
