background

I'm 38 years old and I'm having a total hysterectomy next Friday due to severe endometriosis (previously had excision via lap 18 months ago). This means I will go into premature menopause. I've been given the option of HRT patches until I'm 50, but I want to explore natural alternatives to any symptoms I'll experience. I am a therapist so I'm very open to natural remedies/herbs/nutrition etc. What do you recommend?

You won’t get the menopause the minute you turn 50! The average starting age is actually between 45 and 55 and it can often depend on a number of factors including hereditary, weight and health, however every single woman will have an individual menopause.
