Unfortunately, falling oestrogen can have an effect on our skin, making it drier and more sensitive. There are several things that you can do to help yourself.
Sea Buckthorn Oil is well known for helping menopausal dry skin. We also have several creams that can help dry skin - our Comfrey Cream, which can help hydrate and brighten tired, dry, aging skin, and our Neem Cream, which can help relieve dry or very dry skin.
Water is really important, as it keeps the skin hydrated and plump, so make sure that you are drinking plenty of plain water every day.
Coffee, tea, and fizzy/sugary drinks all dehydrate the skin further so are best avoided if possible!
Just make sure that you are having a good varied diet with plenty of fresh foods as these help to feed the skin.
As the skin tends to get more sensitive at this time it is wise to change over to organic skin care products. Your local health shop should have a selection.
