Headaches are common in the menopause and often caused by fluctuating oestrogen.
You may find Menopause Support helpful as this is traditionally used to help gently raise and balance oestrogen and I would also suggest a magnesium supplement too.
Stress and dehydration can also be contributory factors so make sure that you are drinking plenty of plain water everyday - tea, coffee, fizzy drinks don't count and are best avoided in the menopause anyway (they can trigger hot flushes in some women).
Low blood sugar levels can be another factor as well so make sure that you are eating little and often and have healthy snacks such as nuts and seeds, dried fruits or plain yogurt.
However, headaches can be caused by other factors not associated with the menopause so do get this checked out by your doctor as well.
Loss of libido is very common in the menopause, there can be several things contributing to this. Falling oestrogen is one of the main culprits but the hormonal changes that go on in the menopause puts a tremendous strain on the body generally so energy levels often fall as well which can be a contributory factor. Low oestrogen can affect our mood too so adding all these together it is no surprise!
You may find the herb Maca good for this as it is traditionally used for libido, energy and mood, it is not one of our products but just Google for more info. I often recommend it for menopause issues which our remedies may not cover.
Menopause Support may also be helpful for this as well and you can use this with the Maca if wished.
Acupuncture can also be really good for this so worth looking into as well.
