Tiredness/fatigue is very common during menopause. The hormonal changes that are going on inside your body are to blame.
They are basically draining you of energy because your body has got to try and adapt and rebalance on a daily basis without the hormones that it's been used to. And eventually your energy levels can just fall to such a level that you end up getting fatigued.
Your nutritional needs go up at this point as well. And if you're not actually getting enough nutrition such as eating plenty of fruit and vegetable, good fats and protein then your body is going to be very low in energy.
You may find Menopause Support helpful as this is traditionally used to help gently raise and balance oestrogen and I would also suggest a good magnesium supplement.
Our Balance Mineral Drink may also be a good option for you. In contains a combination of calcium, zinc, magnesium, potassium and vitamin D to help support energy production processes in the body.
However; please be aware that low iron, an underactive thyroid, and low vitamin D can all appear at this stage; all of which can also cause fatigue. It is a good idea to ask your doctor to test for these just to rule them out.
