Unfortunately, lowering levels of oestrogen in the menopause causes reduction of the protective mucus in the vagina. This can result in irritation, infection or fragile tissue.
You may find Sea Buckthorn Oil helpful for this. It is often used to help restore the balance, although it can take 4 weeks or so to start showing benefit.
It is not one of our products but just Google for more information and you should be able to get this from most healthshops.
However, if this does continue it is best to check with your doctor just to rule out any infection.
