The problem with having the Mirena coil (which gives you progesterone) is that it's very difficult to tell what is going on with your own hormones as this will mask your own natural levels which would be falling during the menopause.
Many women find that the coil will suppress menopause symptoms for a while but they do often 'break through' at some point. When this happens it is best to see your doctor as the coil may no longer be appropriate.
