This is common on the approach to the menopause.
However, if your periods continue to get heavier it is important to keep a check on your iron levels as heavy periods can cause anaemia which in turn can cause fatigue, low mood, and sleep problems.
You may find a kelp supplement helpful for the breast tenderness and make sure that you are drinking plenty of plain water as dehydration can make this worse!
However, it is a good idea to get any breast changes checked by your doctor as well.
