Unfortunately, a mammogram can be quite rough on breast tissue and it may take a little while to settle down.
However, breast pain can happen after the menopause as well and may be helped by supplements such as kelp, but if the discomfort continues or gets worse it is important to get it checked by your doctor.
Also, make sure that you get yourself measured properly. A lot of the big stores offer a free service - after the menopause breast shape, size and density can change a lot and an ill-fitting bra can cause pain as well!
