Dry eyes during menopause is a common problem for many women. Your eyes are composed of what's called 'mucous membranes'. These mucous membranes are present elsewhere in your body too, such as your mouth and your vagina. Unfortunately, these mucous membranes can be affected by falling oestrogen levels, which can cause your eyes to become drier.
To treat dry eyes during menopause you can try our mositurising Eye Drops, which can help relieve dry and irritated eyes. I also recommend the supplement Sea Buckthorn Oil, which can help with all over dryness during menopause including vaginal dryness, dry skin, dry mouth and dry eyes.
Bear in mind that there could be other contributory factors, so it is a good idea to get your eyes checked by your optician, especially if you are concerned.
