Yes, the itching feeling is a regular feature of the menopause.
It is often associated with sweats and flushes, which make the skin more sensitive.
If your flushes have lasted this long it is important to get them sorted - try Menoforce sage tablets or Menosan sage tincture, and consider having an allergy test to see if there are foods or drinks or household chemicals that you may be reacting to.
In the meantime, drink plenty of plain water and nettle tea, and/or take nettle tincture (Urtica) to counter the itching.
Eat plenty of vitamin C-containing fruits and vegetables too, as these are another natural anti-itching remedy.
