If your periods have just recently got heavier (and maybe further apart?), then this can indicate a lowering of oestrogen which is known to have a constricting effect on blood vessels, possibly then affecting blood pressure.
Also, heavy periods can make you anaemic which could also affect blood pressure as well. However, this could be due to other factors such as stress or anxiety
