Your symptoms are common ones in the menopause and you are in the average age range so it is possible.
Your doctor may be able to test your hormone levels and that would give you a better idea of what is going on.
There is really no standard hot flush as such; some women can experience a whole body deep flush whereas, at the other end of the scale, some women may only get a little feeling of heat and flushes can either come up the way or down the way!
