Panic attacks are very common and, as I have experienced them myself, really horrible.
I would recommend that you get them checked out by your doctor just to eliminate any other underlying cause but in the meantime you may find taking a magnesium citrate supplement or liquid magnesium tonic helpful. They normally work very quickly.
Dehydration can be a major cause especially if you get them at night so make sure that you are drinking plenty of plain water every day.
Try to avoid adrenal stimulating foods and drinks such as coffee, fizzy drinks, and high sugar and salt foods as these can make symptoms worse. Make sure that you are eating little and often as long periods without food can be a contributory factor as well.
Stress is another trigger so a stress remedy such as AvenaCalm may help.
Acupuncture can often be really good for this so worth looking into as well.
