Periods either getting closer together or further apart, or lasting longer often indicate the start of the approach to the menopause and you are in the average age range 45-55.
Headaches at this time can often indicate low magnesium, so it may be a good idea to take a good female multi-vitamin with extra magnesium.
Just keep an eye on your periods: heavy/prolonged periods can cause anaemia which in turn can cause low mood, fatigue and poor sleep.
If they continue it is best to get this checked out by your doctor as well.
