Which hayfever remedy is best?
Take our quick 4 question test to find out which hayfever remedy is best for you
Take the test now!Hi there, it is possible for your eczema to be linked to hayfever – the immune system is hypersensitive during the hayfever season meaning it can trigger inflammatory chemicals that would make skin more sensitive than normal. People with eczema may also have a defect in their skin barrier which would make it easier for allergens like pollen to permeate.
Unfortunately we don’t have any products that would be suitable for a child of 12 months. I would recommend visiting your GP, just to be sure that hayfever is the cause – other things such as washing powder, soaps and even air fresheners can cause irritation to the skin. If hayfever is confirmed as the cause, you could employ some practical measures to limit the impact of pollen. Dry all clothing in doors, for example, and keep windows closed when pollen counts are high.
