Tea and coffee can be culprits especially if you drink with or immediately after meals.
Mixing fresh fruit with other foods can be a problem for some people, and some find that spicy foods are particularly troublesome.
Heavy proteins such as red meat are tricky for people who don’t have strong stomach acid or who are eating when stressed or hurried.
Chewing well and taking your time over meals will reduce the likelihood of reflux, whatever you eat. Sit up straight and don’t eat large portions at any meal, as this puts physical pressure on the stomach contents to reflux.
