Why is Cystitis Uva-ursi not recommended for men to take?

Although our Uva-ursi & Echinacea complex is licensed for women, it may be taken by men too, where appropriate, and our Uva-ursi complex is suitable for the whole family including yonger children from the age of 2. 

The main reason we have a caution with men is that sympotms of cystitis in men are less common and instead could be a sign of enlarged prostate or something else, in which case, we would want them to have their symptoms checked first.

If cystitis is confirmed by a doctor to be at the root of the cause, then our products would certainly be suitable.
