Can cystitis and thrush be linked?
If you suffer from both recurring thrush and cystitis, or find that when you develop one, the other follows soon after, you’ll know how frustrating it can be.
Find out what the link isWe don't generally recommend Uva-ursi for maintenance, but as you are still recovering from the infection it may be useful. I would recommend taking 15 drops in a little splash of water (5-10mls), 3 times daily for 2-4 weeks.
The Uva-ursi can be used for up to 6 weeks at a time, if you ever feel an infection starting again.
Then for maintenance, drinking sufficient liquids is a must - try to stick to plain, still water as much as possible and aim to consume at least 1.5l daily. Good quality Cranberry Juice (just a little a day) may also be useful and our Cranberry Complex can also be used to help support the health of your urinary tract longer-term.
