There are several factors that could explain why your allergies are worse in the morning:
- Do you keep windows open at all during the day or night? This let's pollen into the home
- Do you dry clothing outside? Pollen might get onto it this way
- Pollen levels are actually high in the evening which may make your symptoms come on at night or in the morning.
- What you eat can influence symptoms – things like caffeine and sugar are inflammatory which may make your symptoms worse. Do you tend to have either of these at night or in the morning?
I would consider these things first of all and then, if necessary, you can make some simple lifestyle changes to see if it improves your hayfever symptoms.
