Hi, dairy is thought to make allergic rhinitis symptoms like congestion and a runny nose worse as it thickens mucus. Not everyone experiences this, however, and milk from cows is thought to be the most problematic. You could switch to non-dairy alternatives like soya and almond milk if you are concerned.
