If you haven't exercised in while, are new to a particular activity or have done a more strenuous activity than your body is used to, it will usually result in aching limbs. This will take a few days to ease off but is quite normal – it is your body's way of adapting to the work it has had to endure. The best thing you can do for achy muscles is take a bath in the evening after your activity as this will be quite soothing. You could apply a little Arnica Gel to the area too if you are in a lot of discomfort. This helps calm pain and inflammation.
Other than this, stay hydrated and allow your body time to recover before getting ready to do another workout.
