I am genuinely over the moon with this recipe and am soo excited to share it with you guys! There is nothing I like more than sweet and salty. The hero of sweet and salty has to be salted caramel! Made using only 3 ingredients, this caramel sauce is smooth, silky, sweet, salty and extremely moreish. It's perfect for drizzling over desserts, drinks etc. You could even dip in apples, anything you fancy!
1. In a small saucepan over low heat, melt together the coconut oil and maple syrup until silky smooth.
2. Mix in the almond butter and salt until smooth.
Serve whilst warm or keep in the fridge for 'ready to eat' caramel sauce...yum!
Let it sit at room tempter to soften.
