Herbamare® Herb Sea Salt is unrefined sea salt, infused with 13 fresh organic herbs and vegetables.
Herbamare® Herb Sea Salt is unique in the way it is traditionally harvested by hand from unique salt marshes in Aigues-Mortes, an area of France well known for its rich agricultural land. Organically grown herbs and vegetables are then steeped with the sea salt for many months to capture the distinctive quality and flavour of Herbamare®.
Herbamare® Herb Sea Salt combines the following vegetables and herbs: celery leaves, leek, cress (water and garden), onion, chive, parsley, lovage, garlic, basil, marjoram, rosemary, thyme and kelp.
It contains 94.9% sea salt and 5.1% herbs and vegetables.
Herbamare® Herb Sea Salt is an unrefined sea salt. Versus table salt, sea salt may retain small amounts of beneficial trace nutrients including the electrolytes magnesium, potassium or calcium, which haven’t been lost due to more excessive processing.
Refined salts, such as table salt may also have harsh washing techniques or additives added, during their processing, to make them suitable for consumption.
Herbamare is unique in that it infuses 13 different herbs and spices making up 5% of its salty mix, meaning, it provides a truly authentic, vibrant flavour.
Herbamare® Herb Sea Salt contains 0.4% Kelp, which provides 36μg of kelp (24% of the Reference intake of iodine for the average adult), per 6g serving size.
