5 ways to jazz up your water

5 ways to jazz up your water ✨ (my delicious, flavour infused water recipes, since we all need to try and drink more water - right!?) 1 - Go fruity – here I’ve used cucumber and grapefruit with ice, lovely and bitter (yes!) and so refreshing! ?? 2 - Healthy acids. Here I’ve used Molkosan Fruit rich in L+ lactic acid with a touch of lemon - great for your gut health ? 3 – Fresh herbs - I had mint and rosemary to hand so went for this options, so frangrant and delish ? 4 – Herbal tinctures - more medicinal and choice can vary depending on your needs, but most have a subtle bitter taste, again, which is helpful as well as thirst quenching? And 5 – spices - I went with homemade fresh ginger and cinnamon and add warm water to make a tea ? How do you prefer your water? ?

5 Delicious Flavour Infused Water Recipes – Tips to Drink More Water, from a Nutritionist

1. Go Fruity

Any fruit goes, mix it up, citrus and berry options, such as grapefruit, combined with some cucumber ribbons are a favourite of mine, as pictured.

2. Healthy acids

Continuing to bang the digestive drum, did you know that your stomach and your large intestine, in particular thrive in their acidic environments. Try adding a glug of Molkosan Fruit to your water first thing, help support your digestive enzyme balance and your overall gut health. A squeeze of lemon can be a nice addition, and good quality apple cider vinegar is another popular choice.

3. Fresh Herbs

If fragrance is your thing, try adding some mint or even rosemary to encourage more sipping.

4. Herbal tinctures

These are more medicinal so the ones you opt for will depend on your own individual health goals. You don’t need a hug amount of water, but depending on which area of health you’re trying to support (digestion is usually a popular choice for most) most of A.Vogel’s tinctures do well in a small tumbler of water, and are often subtly bitter. Then, this same watery dose should be repeated x3 times daily.

5. Spicy

Using warm water is a lovely change and if it keeps you sipping - go for it! Grate some fresh ginger and add a sprinkle of cinnamon for a savoury twist that’s soothing in the form of a homemade tea, and gently medicinal too.
