A.Vogel herbal remedies are marketed in the UK and Ireland by A.Vogel Ltd. Based in Irvine, South-West Scotland, we are part of the A.Vogel group of companies based in Switzerland. A.Vogel is at the forefront of Phytotherapy, the science of using herbs to maintain health and influence illness. The A.Vogel range of fresh herb tinctures and tincture tablets are manufactured in Switzerland and transported to Scotland where they are bottled in our modern facility which operates to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. From our base in Irvine, products are distributed throughout Britain and Ireland.

We are a modern science-based company, grounded in the knowledge and traditions of the herbalist. We offer a comprehensive programme of education for retailers to ensure that the most up-to-date information is available to those who use our products.

Our herbal helpline answers all sorts of herbal health questions and is supported by nutrionists and medically trained doctors. Leading products in the A.Vogel range include:

Echinaforce® Echinacea tablets and drops for colds and flu

Our parent company is based in Roggwil, Switzerland and was founded in 1963 by Alfred Vogel, the eminent Swiss Naturopath and pioneer in natural health. A.Vogel AG now supplies fresh herb tinctures and tablets to over 30 countries world-wide.

The majority of herbs used to produce the A.Vogel range are grown using a strict organic protocol, mainly in the fertile conditions of Roggwil. This allows the company to exert complete control over the cultivation of plants, from planting through to harvesting, using Good Agricultural and Collection Practice (GACP). We have complete traceability of our raw material and as we grow our own herbs, we can be certain that our use of plant material is environmentally sustainable.
